two tone tomatos?

some of my tomatos are growing quite normally, good colour & taste fine. Have a couple of plants that are growing with dark green veiny patches, starting at the top. Bottom of the fruit are a normal green. Even some that have already turned red, have still got visable dark green lines. I am feeding once a week , could I be doing anything wrong

Answers:
Are you sure of the variety of tomato you are growing? Some of the heirloom varieties don't ripen to a solid red but have stripes of green. Often these have a wonderful flavor even though they may have odd shapes in addition to their different coloring. Have you tried tasting some of the oddball tomatoes? If they are tasty, don't worry about the appearance. Looks aren't everything! (I have bought tomato starts several times that were mislabeled - part of the gardening adventure!)

Other answers:
It's just the way that they are ripening and the way the sun is hitting them. As long as they taste okay I wouldn't worry about it.

it depends on which variety you're growing
