if dogs are probably going in that area on a fairly regular basis i doubt it

but if you happen to see a dog peeing you can immediately pour water on the affected area to prevent killing the plant off..this may sound crazy but actually works.
i have read somewhere that urine is high in nitrogen and rinsing off with water within 30 mins is beneficial to the plants but i cant remember what book i read that in

we have 4 dogs but only one is male..when the male constantly goes in one area upon being let outside i will rinse off with water and the plants do good...the females all go in the same spot but fortunately we have a fenced in 1/4 acre yard for them so their area it doesnt really matter..weekly mowing and weedeating their yard is all i do...there are hardly any brown spots from having 4 dogs in that yard
