Peace Lilly Plant?

How do I restore a Peace Lilly thats been over water and turned yellow? I've repotted the plant, but it's still not looking to good.

Answers:
put outside in a shady area that has partial sun. the same thing happened to mine and now it is blooming and its leaves are vibrant and green again.

peace out, lily!

I asked my grandmother for you (im a green thumber but not with a peace lily) and the only thing she said that was critical for them to grow beautifully is shade and not sun. So I dont know if that helps a whole lot......lol... . . .For what it worth, I guess.

Sorry about your plant but my experience has been than it is beyong hope and best to buy another. You could try cutting back all the foliage to the center, let it drya little and repot. Unless there is some sentimental value, start again.. WalMart had some small pots for around four dollars and large gallon, two foot high plants for $7.95.
what you can do is stop watering it for a little while. the soil may feel dry but if it still feels spongy, it means water is still in there, you could also try a leaf cutting and see if it grows from that.
