Grapefruit tree care?

I have 3 red trees, a grapefruit tree, and a lemon tree that have be growing in my patio for the past 20 years in need a problem. This summer I noticed that my grapefruit tree is looking really really fruitless. The leaves are all dying especially essential the bottom of the tree. I have be giving it extra water since I noted its oxidization. The trees around it were doing fine but today I noted that they are starting to look for a moment shabby. I'm afraid that its not a lack of hose down, but rather some type of bug infestation contained by the tree, or some pest infestation like prairie dogs or gulphers within the ground around the tree. Is there any bearing to tell? Who should I telephone for a consult: landscaper or exterminator?

Answers:    Dying lower leaves on citrus is usually a sign of over watering. If you water too recurrently and/or near the trunk of the tree, it is feasible to get a root/crown rot disease. Pull the soil away from the substructure of the trunk and see if the bark have separated or if black/brown decay is present. If so, save the area overt and dry. The roots of the tree are well out from the trunk, at the ends of the branch stripe. Once a week, thorough irrigation is best for the trees in the summer.
are you remembering to nurture them? they do really require frequent doses of the right fertilizers, pref. organic, imo. if so, later you need to examine for insects and gophers. but you would see evidence of any, if so. do you see bugs on the trees, and what do they look like? do you see little fluffy mounds of soil appearing around the trees from tunnelling rodents? you have need of to determine these things before taking any adjectives action.
