How will you take action if your neighbour planted trees outside your house?

Answers:    Oh your property? It would be your decision if they stay or walk. On his property? If you don't like them say-so so. Otherwise enjoy the greenery.
It would depend first on what I thought of the neighbor. Mine is really pushy and requests to "garden" and "landscape" all the grounds.

I am assuming that you are from Texas base on your screen first name and I am as well. The concern is what gentle of trees were planted. Trees can go and get huge here in Texas specially if they are of the oak or pecan miscellany.

If you like them, after leave them. If you don't resembling them or are concerned about the long possession effects, have the neighbor remove them or you remove them and confer them to your neighbor.
If it was a friend of mine, it would be no big business, but if it was purely an acquaintance or someone I did not know, I would pocket them down. That is if you owned the property that they were put on.
