How do i trim a plumaria plant?

It is becoming overgrown and i dont want to harm it since this is the first year it has bloomed since i planted it 3 years ago.

Plumeria are quite hard.Use a small saw to cut off pieces at the joints.You can pot those and grow more or pot and give them to friends.

Break off the parts that are in your way & get some root starter, then pot the sticks with the root starter in the soil. the parts that you do not break off should continue to bloom next year. oh yeah, dont do this until your leaves fall off this fall, you might still get some good blooms. plumeria loves heat & it should get warmer before it cools off in fall.

as far as it not blooming before; mine bloomed the last 2 years and skipped this year, but i've gotten a lot of growth from the leaves. i think i overwatered it this year, no stress might mean no flowers.
