Best passageway to bump up worms?
Answers: If you are vermicomposting, I suggest red wigglers. You can draw from them in bait shops. They do not live surrounded by the soil. You can use shredded newspaper that is to say kept damp approaching a wet sponge. 1 pound of worms can pilfer care of the kitchen snippets for a family of four. You put them into a plastic-opaque container that you enjoy drilled 1/4 inch holes in the bottom, sides, and top--because they hold to breathe. Then feed them coffee grounds, food waste, --they even eat the broadsheet. But remember, they don't live in the soil. The worm castings are similar to a mega-dose of plant food. I went to a class closing week about how to do it, and I'm really stoked nearly trying it! The class instructor's container was in the order of 2' long, 1' high, and going on for 1' to 1 1/2' wide.
