Why are diesel tractors so ridiculously overpriced?

Most of the people buying them have good use for them and yes they may complain but they know options are better on the ones they purchase.(Technological advances).If you are in the market.....have one custom ordered.Would you need all the hydralic hoses on it ? or would you just need the good ole PTO.

Diesel tractor engines will outlast and out perform gasoline engines. Fewer moving internal parts, running slower, provide more torque, able to run on many different grades of diesel or fuel oil.
Diesel engines in trucks usually run twice as long as gasoline before a major rebuild.
It is kinda hard to plow the lower 40 with a car.

the traveling is right and have you looked at the stuff its made of?? how much do you pay for a car tire?? look at the size of a tractor tire!! and the thickness,, also the frame and other metal parts are tem times the thickness and strength of cars,,there are still many farm tractors from the very first days running around,, not so many cars of the same era!!
