Mosquitoes within January?

Ok so I know it is fairly mild at the moment, but we are currently mortal plagued by mosquitoes during the late afternoon & adjectives evening - just letting the dogs into the garden is hell - hundreds & I really do scrounging hundreds of mosquitos swarm in. I enjoy all my (Boots) plug contained by repellers going, but why are we having this problem within January?

Answers:    You are not short of water over within at the best of times are you. With the recent wet and thaw out weather they will 'blow' in standing wet if the temp hovers about 50c for a few days. A cold snap will see them sour
Mainly down to floods caused by starchy rains...mosquitoes can breed surrounded by the water collecting surrounded by an old tyre...so see in your mind`s eye how many are thriving within some of the pools that never drained away. The temperature requests to be well below nothing for at least a week past it has any effect on numbers. It's a plague...that's why unsullied diseases like blue tongue is rife and more rabbits than usual are getting myxomatosis. If you own a pond or water butt...this could be a your local source.Try the blue attractors a bit than repellers..
