How can I move my japaneses lace leaf tree without hurting it ?

Its getting to big for the space its in and I dont want to trim it back.

Answers:
I assume you are asking about a lace leaf Japanese maple. These can be very expensive trees worth several hundred dollars. I would suggest you get a professional to move this tree for you.

I'm sure it can be moved most anytime if the person moving it can keep the majority of the root system. It may have to be trimmed some to keep the leaf system in balance with the roots after it is moved.
