Mistletoe berries contain toxic amines and proteins which cause gastroenteritis when ingested, unpleasant and commonly fatal. One of the glycoproteins found surrounded by mistletoe is classified as a lectin. Lectins can cause cell to agglutinate (adhere) or undergo mitosis and transformation. Uncontrolled lectin flurry in the body is poisonous, the person dying from massive antigen-antibody criticism.

Some animals can eat it..and some cant..depending on thier one genetic set up...
It can be used for medicinakl purposes also...Same as chemo therapy for cancer.. it is a poison too, but afterwards again can be useful... You must knwo what you are doing to ingest this
You are not fairly correct about misteltoe one dangerous. Try googling 'mistletoe' theres heaps to find, apparently it is used as medication for cancer etc,., and birds get through it quite optimistically. Cant find anything about if it be dry tho. Sorry.
