A hanging petunia plant I bought yesterday now has small ants in it. How do I get rid og them/?

I've always had luck with ant stakes. they are poisonous to ants. but I think returning it is a good idea too.
go back to the nurserey and tell them about your problem. they should give you somethink that will not harm your plant, but get rid of the ants
