What is the type of holly plant beside berries?

I was told in that are two type of holly plants, male and womanly. I bought one with berries, but don't know if i.e. really true or not. What is that type? Does it need another type indoors close by it? I think it does outside to propagate... any info would minister to, I'm kind of contemporary to taking care of plants indoors.

Definition: pistillate
In plant reproduction argot, pistillate literally means, "position pistils." Pistillate plant parts are "female": i.e., they bear ovules and produce seed.

To my knowledge adjectives female hollys produce berries as long as here is a male close by by. NOT just one type of holly.
