When should I scatter my Columbine seeds?

Early spring after last frost date is good. The seeds are naturally sown by mother plant after flowering and will result in many little babies that can be easily transplanted. So that's an easy way of getting more started. But if you don't have a mother plant, sow them now. And keep soil well watered but not soggy. They prefer part shade. I love columbine, have fun and enjoy them for many years.

Right after all frost is gone and after you have pulled all the weeds and got the dirt ready for them. They last in a vase 3-4 days.
I have Columbines. Every year once the flowers are gone and the seed pods are dry, I break them open and start scattering them around. I have great luck with this method. All of my columbines come in thick and hardy every summer.
