Have a big patch of cane growing in my yard as a privacy fence, and need to encourage it to spread out further, where I want it, and not where it wants to spread. Tried digging up a new sprout and never found the end of the root. Any ideas?
Answers:
Whack off a piece of new growth and stick it in water-- just may root. Here, in zone 7, Cane and Bamboo are very invasive-- so watch out.
Good Luck
