How long can you donate maincrop spuds contained by the groung back harvest?
Answers: Maincrop and lates should have be done by now. Store any surplus surrounded by trays or better still paper tater sack if you can get them, place surrounded by a frost free shed garage etc. and beware of vermin. I other check mine once a month and remove any rotting ones. If you still have some within the ground get them up, you may still own a crop of some kind.
Regret spuds are not impressively keen on frosts, within or out the ground. Any that survive will soon be sprouting with the first signs of spring and uneatable correspondingly if they are not protected having be dug. The other enemy is frothy, keep covered up or they will dance green. Do not eat green potatoes
