I enjoy mint growing surrounded by my garden?

mint is suppose to get rid of flies. the flies are green flies. and thay are drinking the leaves on my mint bush what can i do to get rid of them

Answers:    I would pour soapy marine on the mint...try to get it on the underside of the leaves also...every third sunshine or so unless it rains...consequently again after the rain...the insects don't close to the taste of soap and it's environmentally friendly

and I'd verbs up the mint and plant it in a plastic container and put that into the ground to hang on to the mint from being so invasive..( no holes contained by the bottom of the container)
Well, I wouldn't worry more or less it because if your mint is planted in the ground you will soon be over run next to it which means in attendance will be enough to run around. Mint is one of the Most invasive plants in a garden and most populace, myself included, have made the mistake of planting mint surrounded by the ground instead of a large container. One point you can do for the green fly is get a 32oz. spray bottle and supply 1/4tsp dish soap, 1/4 tsp cooking oil, and hose and spray your plants once a week until the infestation is gone. Just make sure you do it hasty in the morning.
Good Luck
