will putting lime on your yard get rid of ticks in tennessee??

we have deer ticks and seed ticks??? new to the area need help!!

Lime would not help you,(sevin) dust will work in this case.Can be purchased at local lawn and garden center.see source.

Many years ago lime was used to rid an area of ticks. The ticks ate the lime and as a result of a failed experiment LIME DISEASE was born . Just kidding . Sevin is a product I have had great success with . Good luck
