Why are glads not blooming flowers ?

I have had mixed glads for over a month. They are like 2 feet but no flowers yet . They are also turning brown. I have tryed everything . Nothing seems to work for them ..

Answers:
Glads do not bloom until summer. As for the dry leaves...you are either watering too much or not enough. If you stick your finger into the soil an inch deep and the soil is dry, then water. If it is wet, leave them alone. You do need to cut off the dead brown leaves, they can zap energy from the plant.

Other answers:
Not sure, but, maybe they aren't getting enough water.

it's way too early for glads - maybe that's the problem

Maybe they're planted too deeply? If bulbs, corms, or tubers are planted too deep, you get lots of leaves, but not a bloom. You can always dig them up and replant them.
