When are the best times to treat the grass for grubs and which methods and product to use?

And how can you tell if your meadow has a grub problem?

Thanks for your answers!

Answers:    If you own grubs, you'll see dead and dying portions of your meadow, usually in the sunnier spots. Sometimes you can communicate by pulling on the dying grass, it can come up very effortlessly because they have eat all the roots. That's when it get bad.

Grubs are tot beetles, and they win active when Summer get going. Destruction becomes evident with hot weather.

Grub-Ex is a popular control, and is granular, made to be applied beside a broadcast spreader. If your lawn is not too big, basically get rather hand-held broadcast spreader, made by Scotts. Put it down in Spring.
My experience have been that the grubs are the larva of crane flies, usually called "daddy long legs". If you provoke birds (especially starlings) into your garden, they will dig them up and get through them for you. Using chemicals will make your garden sterile and obnoxious to any living creature.
