I own a BROWN thumb: How do I cram to grow what I want, and not what I own to?

After many years of not civilized anymore,
I now love roses (not red) and indoor flowers and plants.

The soil surrounded by my yard seem to be acidic, and it kill things quicker than I do! So, I thought about inside flowers. Yeah, something that blooms.

Looking for serious suggestions. Thanks!

Answers:    Brown Thumb, eh? I have one of those for years too, until I decided I really considered necessary to grow something other then weed. I got some gardening books and started research. You could also call your county extension and find a local Master Gardener to chat to. They LOVE talking gardening and to be exact what they are there for.
First of adjectives, have a soil check done. It will tell you EVERYTHING you inevitability to know about your soil and what you may involve to do to amend it. Then start out with plants in good health suited to the growing conditions you have. Starting beside 'easy' plants will help you gain confidence within yourself and then you can verbs to other things. It's all a erudition process, and even though my gardens may look beautiful to others, I still am occasionally losing plants that I obligation to replace. That is okay..............gives me room to try something different anyway.
As far as inside flowers, you will need to do some erudition on that too. Check out this site to get started: http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/houseplants...
Good Luck and jubilant growing!
If you have a brown thumb stop sticking it within your rectum. Jeesh. If you want a green thumb go to the nursery and bring back some supplies and to gardening granny
