Ah what a pity. Something some people take for granted. Snow is so beautiful, its soft and so quiet and light. I love the way everything goes so quiet just before snow falls, I don't know why that happens but it does.. silence freezing then the light cold flakes fall and land and settle on the ground, children get excited and adults smile, elderly people don't really like snow because it can be hazardous for them. But I love the snow it would be wonderful to see snow and I hope one day you will. I would love to see your face when you see it and hold it in your hands till it fades to nothing.. Make sure someone takes a photo of your reaction. Do you know something I am going to think of you the next time it snows....

Just scrape some frost off of a freezer, it's like snow but not really, it's cold.

If you've had a shaved ice, you've seen snow.
its cold and wet and like snow cones...have you ever had shave ice? its like that, but everywhere and finer.
go to north pole or open your freezer
me 2 i have not touched it
It's cool. Darn cold, in fact. You must be from Queensland?
It can be fun. If you want to know what it feels like. Put a piece of ice on your neck. That's what its like to have someone sneak up behind you with a snowball.
It's freezing cold, and when you get it on ur clothes or hair, it melts and makes ur clothes or hair wet. Fun at first but the novelty wears off. It's like soft fluffy ice.
just go to japan!!!
its just wet and cold and kold
sucks to be u!
it's too cold, dear..
its so cold.. and i ate it couple times when i was little haha
Come to Africa
go to a cold country in the winter
Snow is among the more beautiful things in the world. There is nothing like feeling the good cool air all around your body as you keep yourself warm with your own body heat (it is even better when you share with someone you love). Snow fights are fun, and are in many cases similar, but better than water balloons. Snow in hair is pretty fu, but looks better than it feels =)
If your freezer develops frost, scrape some out of it. That is what snow is like. Otherwise you could crush ice in a blender and it would be kind of similar.
Light snow, or flurries are lovely to look at, touch and even eat. Sledding and playing in the snow is lots of fun. I'm from NY, so saw a couple of big blizzards there (those aren't nice). Snowball fights were fun when we were kids, but turned ugly when the snow turned to ice.
I have even seen snow (rarely) in Nevada and Arizona. Where do you live that you've never seen snow at all?
95% of we Indians have never seen snow in our life times.Nor have I.... But raring to go on an expedition to the poles.. ;)
Funny thing, I have.
I saw snow for the first time at about 6 years old. This was at the foot of the Swiss Alps.
It was so cold and horrible, I ran screaming back to my parents camper. Never wanted to see snow again, never will.
I grew up in the Yukon, so yeah, I know snow.
think of a feather but cold and fragile. if you hold it in your hand, it melts. it's unique, you will never find two flakes alike. if someone puts it down your back it's the worst thing! when snow falls it deadens sound, so that everything becomes still and quiet. it diffuses light so falling snow can cast a subtle glow in the night air. a girl with snow in her hair looks so beautiful, it can make your heart break!
but it really sucks having to shovel it out of the drive way.
its tooooooooooooooooooo amazing. come to india and u can experiance everything .even i did it.if not possible crush ice in grinder and experiance it
it is really really cold!
i went out with an aussie for a while and he came visiting me in switzerland. i never knew that he did see snow before. so we drove tru the valleys and all of a sudden there was a piece of snow. he would scream: stooooooop! and jump out of the car. it was a really dirt patch of snow and we (used to snow) would never touch it, but he 'took a bath' in it. it was for me just as great to look at somebody who never saw/tastet/felt snow as it was for him.
snow can be nicce in the beginning of winter, but then after a while you get really tired of it, because you tend to slip on ice, you always have cold feet and you have to wear leiures of clothing to keep yourself warm!
but how it actually feels besides of cold is difficult to explain - maybe someting like really thin shredded ice?
Neither have i....
Feeling snowflakes falling gently on your face and hair is like being kissed by a thousand angels - love and light - Amara xx
its horribe cold and wet
Hmmm... it's like describing chocolate. You simply have to BE there... to feel the crispy nip in the air, being all bundled up in three or four layers of clothes from top to bottom, with your mittens or pile-lined gloves on, and maybe even thick woolen socks over your thermals before you don your nylon-bibs so you can strap on your lined boots, a turtle neck shirt under your sweater underneath your new parka, and a woolen cap to protect you from that sudden gust of chill factor... as you open that front door to start your zombie walk out into blazing whiteness of a cold spring morning!
You hear the crunch of each footstep you make as you walk on last night's snowfall and listen to the early birds greet your day... then pause to slowly turn 360 degrees to scan your horizon and purposely flop on your back to start making your first angel print on the front yard, then get up with shaved ice in both hands that quickly compress into the size of a tennis ball... waiting for your first victim that will come rushing out of that door.
Then wham! You feel that nudge on your back. Flop! Another one hits your left ear... your neighbors were up earlier than you were. Now it's war!
LOL.
P.S. Wait till you try skiing!...
You are missing something in life, i must say. It goes without saying that it is a very chilling feeling, it's gr8 fun to glide down on your bums :D (not the conventional skiing). It's like white & pure expanse, truly heavenly. But beware of the low O2 level.
poor you. Its very pretty. We dont get it that much in the uk. Its freezy and looks lovely. Though thats the best bits. The slush it turns into is horrible, cold and you can very easily slide on your bum! I wouldnt miss snow, but I loved it when i was a child-snow fights and building snow men. I think you can buy snow machines now, or just take a holdiay to somewhere it does snow!
its no big deal
