What can i use to make my box shrubs grow quick?
Planted them 1 year ago.
Answers:
boxwood shrubs take at least 1 full year cycle to get fully established and grow a strong root system.i prefer organic nutrients over "miracle grow".using a combo of quality manure, peat moss and compost is what i would reccomend.also regular pruning will help.look to make sure that the root ball was not buried.if so,lossen and remove a little of the soil from around the base of the shrubs.i think you will notice a real differance in the second year.good luck.
as for the miracle grow issue, you can easierly burn the plant with it.i have seen to many trees, shrubs and perrinials that have gotten harmed or killed by an overdose.

box woods are slow growers and will only grow as fast as they are suppose to
One of the characteristics of box is that it is slow-growing. Count your blessings; it won't need trimmed as often as other kinds of hedge.
