Daffodils ? should I start out them for a year ?

I planted out 5000 daffs and have picked them every year for 5 years very soon, should I leave them for a year ? would it trade name them stronger or bigger - or no difference at all ???

Answers:    Daffodils and Narcissus can hold the blooms removed without any adverse effects.Florists and souk gardeners do this regularly, only if the bulbs produce blind shoots as a result of overcrowding should the plants be split into individual bulbs and spread out.
Left to their own devices, the bulbs will core and increase.
I don't think it'd brand any difference cos just preserve on coming.
I love daffs.
What do you do with 500 every year?
I pick some of mine, but I dont do anythig special to the remainder. They own multiplied over the years.
