Herb Gardens?
Answers: Good Idea!!
Herbs are easy to grow! And you both will really relish them!
From using for healthy cooking, and using to brand name your home smell really good!
I suggest that you and your mother rob a trip to your local nursery/ nurseries, and ask questions, (always ask question that is the best mode to learn too) question like what herb will do good contained by your area and climate. They can communicate you alot of good concept, and give you more suggeted herb to grow.
Also this is a good time for you to take a Herb Gardening Book and do some reading about different herb, and which ones appeal to you and your mother.
I live in Southern Middle Tennessee and I grow peppermint, Spearmint, Catnip, (pennyroyal*is of the mint family), Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, Thyme, Lemon Balm..... With mints preserve them away from each other, and away from your other plants (they are exceptionally aggressive herbs). Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, Thyme, Lemon Balm, these herbs come pay for each year surrounded by my area.
The more you use them, and cut them the more they will produce!
Good luck and Happy Gardening!
