My boyfriend bought me a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses for valentines sunshine....?

and Im going to be sad when they die. I would really close to to preserve them somehow but I dont want to squish them, just dry them out. I also dont want the petals to spill out off. I hear that if you spray hairspray on them it will help, but I dont want to mess them up. Anyone own any suggestions?

Answers:    Silica Gel
Silica gel can be found in most garden centers, nurseries, florist, or hobby shops. It absorb moisture from flowers rapidly, thus preserving flower color better than other drying methods. Most flowers will dry surrounded by 36 to 48 hours.
