I Joined a Boring Club!?

i wanted to join a club, so i decided helping around my church watering the plants. i thought it would be fun, because i love the outdoors. but its so boring! all the plants are already watered and im the only one there!! and im there for 2 hours. i dont want to hurt the Pastor's feelings by leaving the club.. what do i say so he will understand?

Suck it up... you agreed to it so fulfill your obligation. Maybe plant some new flowers or design a new garden to take up the spare time. I think that the important thing here is to finish what you agreed to. We can't always like what we do when it is for others.
