I am currently trying to grow lemon and loquat trees. The weather is perfect for them immediately, but I live in Arkansas and I know they will not tolerate the cold. I enjoy them in pots and I live surrounded by an apartment.

Well, you could bring them inside but if that is not an remedy, you could also try putting up a burlap tent around them (not touching the plant) or you could try wrapping them in those frail type Christmas lights that put off a great deal of heat and keeping the trees heated that road.
