When do I trim my blackberry tree?

Moved into a place in March, There is 3 blackberry trees and they did not produce for impressively long this Spring, should I trim them down? and when?

Answers:    first black berries don't grow on trees, black berry's grow on vines, and you don't need to trim them as they produce in fact good every 3 years and consequently die , but the new ones that come up will produce, so you own blackberries every year, you can pull out the unresponsive ones in the spring,or cut them.
if you own a tree it must be mulberry, as they look so much alike, but I personally infer mulberry's are better, so if that is the overnight case you can trim it any time after the sap goes down, usually contained by the fall until the sap starts rising surrounded by the spring, and it shows new growth,
you can shift ahead and trim them now
