How long can you store planting bulbs that enjoy not be planted?

For instance, if you could not plant them all formerly the planting season was over. How long do you hold before these bulbs turn doomed to failure. Also, how can i store these till the next planting season, if it possible?


Answers:    I don't know of a constraint on how long you can keep bulbs. It really depends on the individual bulb and how it have been treated up to this point. If it have been exposed to humidity it will be more likely to rot. If it have been kept dry overall it will more imagined remain viable for the next gowing season. I nick an old twosome of pantyhose and slide the first bulb down into the foot.Tie a knot. Slide surrounded by the next bulb. Tie and mesh and continue until you enjoy all of your bulbs stored. Then hang down in a cool dry place ( vault or garage ). Next growing season give respectively bulb a gentle squeeze to sort sure they are still fleshy and firm and then plant them.
Most importantly is to hang on to the bulbs dry or they will rot, then put them somewhere cool and poorly lit. If they shoot don't worry, a moment ago remove the shoots.
Next year check to make sure they are still firm and afterwards plant them as usual.
