I live in florida, which is a zone 8, I believe. I needed to do a white flowering hedge surrounded by the front of my house and then attach bright punches of color to the front of the hedges near some flowers. Any ideas??
Answers: Privet also have a tiny white flower and grows quickly. Hibiscus make a nice hedge and nearby are varieties from white through red shades. Azalaea can receive nice hedges but doesn't continually bloom.
don't know if mock ginger will grow there or not, but when I be growing up the neighbors had a mock red hedge around the rear yard. it have white flowers that smelled like glory!
