Where can I buy underlay for my pond as cheap as possible. In South Devon?

if u go to your local carpet shop, see the manager & ask him if he has any old carpets you can have, they make wonderful underlay, when you have done that put layers & layers of newspaper on top, then put your liner down

Ask around you friends and collegues - you never know one of them may be changing their carpet and you can use that to line your pond. Contact a local carpet shop and ask them if they ever take up and get rid of old carpets for people - if so ask could you please have one. The size doesn't matter as all you have to do it cut the carpet into strips to line you pond. It's far cheaper than underlay and carpeting tends to be thicker as well.
