why the colour of leaf happens to grean and not the black or white?

question is clear in itself

Answers:
Because of the chlorophyll in the leaves, its a green photosynthetic pigment, but thear are many tipes of chlorophyll like A, B, C1, C2, D, P680 etc and some are diffrent colored than green and thear are chlorophylls that are black or white making the leaves of the plant black or white or red or blue... but how ever the green is the most comon (B) because its easy for the plants to generate it, the pigments last more whit it and can absorb more sun light than the other chlorophylls

Other answers:
because leaves have this thing called chlorophyll..or is it chloroplast? it's one of those!!

because of chlorophyll
do you mean why is a leaf green, well it is because of the chlorophyll in it that is green. in a poinsettia where is has red leaves it is because the chlorophyll is red.
The chromoplasts in the leaf give it pigment in (eukaryotic) plant life. They are found in coloured organs of plants such as fruit and floral petals, this gives distinctive colors. Most photosynthetic leaves are clear in chloroform and this is why they appear green to the naked eye. When they get old (like in the fall) they loose their chloroform change colors and die.
