Line trimmer hell - smudge keep breaking - sustain!??

I bought a cheap talon electric line trimmer. It take ryobi line reel. I use it to edge my lawns. This is a awfully frustrating process because the lines break and receed into the head. Meaning after roughly speaking 1-2 minutes of trimming I have to remove the skipper and re thread it. This is driving me crazy. Is there a better commander option for an electric string trimmer? What sort of head should I be using?

Answers:    If you purchase some strange line, you might find it breaks smaller number. To help it nurture correctly, make sure to re-wind the spool in order, insuring wraps are loose enough to payment out without binding. Often, breakage is due to the row binding on a deeper wrap within the spool. A worthy idea is to spray the wrapped smudge in the spool generously with some WD-40 (spray oil). This insures it'll slide out easier, short getting caught.
Some of the types of after-market trimmer line are pretty tough-maybe try the tri-blade vein for more durability. Make sure the diameter is right for your unit and application.
Good Luck!
The problem is that you are trying to construct up for the lack of power that your trimmer have, by trying to force it against the stuff you're cutting. Just pay for off for a while, and let the string do the work.

If you wanna catch serious about trimming, capture yourself a good ability trimmer.....something like a GAS powered Sthil or a Shindawa. You gain what you pay for.
Have you tried a larger diameter weedeater procession?I use a gas powered Echo that is close to commercial duty, and the lighter lines wrap around manacle link blockade or wear out prematurely,I use .95 millimeter gauge.Orange next to ridges across the length,to give it more adjectives surface. With a few modifications,I can cut small bushes with it.Talk to a clerk at the local meadow supply store. You sound approaching the spring in the adjectives head is gone,it advance the feed.
