How does one get rid of quack grass?

hello! I've been burning them with round-up and pulling them out. But they just keep comin back. Has anyone come up with an easy way to deal with this nusiance? Thanks!

Answers:
Short of completely sterilising the ground which means that you can't grow anything for 12 months, the only guaranteed way is to dig out every bit of root. Just the smallest piece will re-generate.
You could use a black semi permeable membrane with slits cut in it for your plants but this is difficult if your plants are established. This cuts out the light from the grass.

try to use a herbicide that will work against quackgrass most herbicides that work against crabgrass will work against quackgrass. If you have a commerical pesticide license i recommend DRIVE. Alway remove the weed before is seeds. Keep something on the soil growing to shade out the weed seeds since the soil bank is most likely filled with that weed.
