Why are dandelions considered weed when daisies are considered flowers?

Answers:    It's a question of exquisiteness being contained by the eye of the beholder. Daisies don't spread NEARLY as fast as dandelions, any, so they don't get widespread as dandelions do, but ultimately, a weed is just a plant that's lately out of favor for the moment :-)
Probably because Daisy's can be controlled. Dandelions have no mercy.
