keep watering it to try and wash out as much of the fertilizer as you can, seed it to replace and plants that don't recover, and give it time. good luck.
the only other thing you can do is spend big bucks replacing all the plants and soil in one go.

Sod. Aside from that not much if the roots are dead. You can try keeping it watered but don't expect quick results.
It's probably not going to come back before the end of summer but you can add some more seed to it and water it. Just don't add anymore fertilizer...
water, water and water some more .... Then you could also try spreading some grass seed witch will help with new growh,incase the burnt grass does not come back this year ...

You just got to keep watering and watering until it regrows, or add a whole new top layer of soil.
I remember when my ex mowed the violets just as the whole patch was coming into glorious scented bloom.
Mistakes happen...weed killer kills but the weeds do return..but it takes time.
Just tell him to take care where he sprays weed killer...it should not come into a personal garden...

The roots of the grass might not be dead. Just keep watering if it doesn't rain. You should see some green in a week or so if there is a chance.
hey, be sure he knows never to apply a weed and feed when the temp. is over 75. High temps., activate the ingredients and will kill any type grass and the surrounding plants. Hmmm, way down on the bottom of the bags, in small print, is this information. If you re-sod, better wait till you know the stuff has been watered down and washed away.
