I want to know how to get my 2 5 year old pineapple guavas (Acca sellowiana)to fruit.?

They are in 12 inch pots of John Innes No 3 compost, outside for the summer & in a cold greenhouse for winter. Do they need to be pruned to fruit & if so when & how?

Answers:
Feijoa sellowiana
Common Names: feijoa, pineapple guava
To produce fruit, feijoas need 100-200 chilling hours below 45º F (7º C). Heat stress in the summer may cause them to drop fruit prematurely.
