Do you like yardwork?

I sure do. we have a wonderful garden, well gardens actually. Even in the winter with all the snow the gardens still have so much shape and interesting things going on, it is heaven. The spring is the best though, the renewal, crocus, daffodils, even the sedum coming back, grand. My Wife laughs when I hide pepper plants in amongst Her flowers, but she never pulls them up, and I like to plant cherry tomatoes here and there as well just for fun. The four seasons are linked with my life now, timed to our gardens and I couldn't imagine it being any other way. Nice question, thanks.

I'm just like you, I'll choose yard work over house work anytime, wierd, I just mowed mine today...I love that smell to.I love planting flowers and cleaning up the yard, it's not a chore to me, it's peaceful and relaxing to me...God bless

I can pull weeds all day.
I love it too. It is very Zen. Sometimes that lawn mower gives me my best thoughts and sometimes I am just in the moment and my body is in motion and my thoughts are still.
I also feel very creative planting--like I am assisting the artist, God, on the color composition of a painting.
What I don't like is in July when the beetles come out--they eat the sweet. Bums me out.
YES, I ALSO LOVE TO WORK IN MY FLOWER GARDEN! I CUT MY GRASS MYSELF TO BUT CAN'T WEEDEAT IT LOL!
I don't like it. I'd rather change the oil in my truck, bike, and the old lady's car. Stuff like that. I have no problem with stuff like taking out the trash. But I really don't like yard work. I don't even have a problem with shoveling, snow blowing the driveway and or walks at my house.

Actually sometimes cutting the grass lets me relax & get over the days issues.
The grass never talks back.
I love working in the garden. It is very satisfying to see the fruits of your labor. I'm not fond of weed whacking though, that is my least favorite activity.
no as i hate bugs and last time i did yard work a tree branch fell on me and it hurt, i perefer to clean the bathroom as when it is clean it looks and smells clean and i know all the germs are gone.
i get what you mean but not in the garden.
Yard work is good for many reasons, For me Its spiritual,
seeing the work of mother nature, and the creations she makes.
True beauty in every sense!~
The Aromas are plesant too,
nothin' like fresh cut grass, or a freshly manicured garden,
that has been deweeded, and the aroma of freshly bloomed flowers~~~
maybe a few additions to the garden...
after all is said and done you can sit back and admire your own work,
maybe sip on some wine or a glass of cold ice tea...
and then look forward to doing it again next weekend...
Thats why spring and summer is so wonderful, getting back to nature as I say!

I went to the yard, and just back and logging into yahoo answers and see this question. I am a organic gardener and enjoy being there. Even have an electric outlet way back in the yard. When I am not digging, caring for the flowerbeds, take my laptop and enjoy working from the deck. Thanks for asking this question and brag about my garden.
