I would wait till october,or till the summer has gone.New turf needs lots and lots of water...sun is not important to new turf,its all about getting the roots settled,and that means rain.

Autumn, but make sure we start having some regular rain, you might want to check with your supplier, this could be a tough year to get hold of decent turf.
from my experience end september, this way you dont have to water too much and the grass slows down so can concentrate on building a route system.
When we layed our new turf we did it late september ..... but as we are having a really hot spell it could be much later , best to ask your garden centre or go online to Charlie Dimmock .
