Are there any flowers deer will not eat out of flower beds?

If you have a garden you proubly love nature so why don't you just make something nice for feed for the deer.
the deer would always eat ALL of my grandmas flowers so she finally got fed up and put artificial ones in her garden!
I always say, there's enough for everyone. I also have a vegetable garden which I protect as best I can but always figure extra for the deer, rabbits, birds, etc.
What the heck, it's not a matter of life and death - for us.

There are plants that are "deer resistant". If you go to www.directgardening.com , you can do a search for specific types of plants and deer resistance is one of the choices. I did it and it came up with 11 pages (231 items) of plants that fall into that catagory. Happy gardening!
I know someone with the same problem and they love to garden. The only flowers they have found to be "deer safe" are Pansies, Daffodils and, Impatients.
Try roses because of the thorns
Lupine are pretty deer-resistant in our area. You can Search on-line for a list of Deer-Resistant plants for your growing zone. **However, remember that Deer can't read and many times yearlings (or fawns) don't have developed taste-buds and can still eat the plants they supposedly don't like. Usually it's the yearlings/fawns that are most destructive because of this.
