how do i keep deer out of my corn? I can't afford to fence it all in. HELP!?

Answers:
A neighbor of mine used to put battery-powered radios in his corn tuned to talk radio. The deer supposedly thought that there were people in the corn and they stayed away from it.

Of course it's not very economical when you think of how much the batteries cost and having to rig up something to keep them dry, but it's still cheaper than putting up a fence, and I know it worked because he always had plenty of corn in the summer.

There are sprinklers that we used they are motion sensors so when any animals approach they get blasted with water. It's a harmless way to keep out pesky animals without hurting them. It also works for ducks in the swimming pool

Some good tips I have heard is to setup about 1-2' stakes all around the out side and run string around it. then take CD and metal pie pans and hang them from it. It will keep lots of stuff out.
If that doesn't work try a electric fence although that will be expensive. Or maybe get a dog, maybe they can keep them run off.
The next time you get a haircut, ask for some of your hair. Sprinkle the hair around the cornfield. Deer will smell this and stay away.
Try making a scare crow of some sorts and puttin small wind chimes out. Any thing aroud the corn that makes noise will scare them. They are very caucious animals. Also try running a radio out there.
Another way is to get stakes and put garbage bags on them. When the wind blows, the rustling of the garbage bags will scare them. Note: You need to have wind for this to work.
hot wire. put hot wire around the area they get in at they while hit that wire and wont do it again or shoot them. where im from its legal to shoot deer or wild animals that are destroying your fields.
They actually make non toxic "Deer and Squirrel" repellent (you know because deer are so much like squirrels) You could even spray it on the corn but if your squeamish about that, spraying it around the perimiter should work and you can buy it at Home Depot.
I doubt that it is the deer that are doing it. I am a longtime corn grower and the usual varmits are racoons. They are very hard to outsmart and the only thing that really works against them is electricity, I mean a hot wire that they only touch once and then never again.
believe me all those remedys do not work, they may deter them for a dday or two , but they catch on, you either erect a fence over 8 feet tall or you set up an electric fence, but you must train them to the electric fence or they will jump over it or crash through before they realize its electric--once they are trained though they are not going to cross it---you need to hang pieces of aluminum foil from the strands of wire and cover them with peanut butter--honestly , once they lick that they will avoid that fence for good, they also seem to learn from the others as well ----i had 24 acres deer free for 2 years once they were trained---before i trained them they crashed into it often---you must check your fence periodically to make sure no grass or branches are on the wire as it grounds it out---------------------------...
