Try some sort of cedar tree like pine. They seem to grow very fast and they have they green needles all year. If you live in the south you could also try a pine.
Try a Yew tree. Not a good choice if small kids around though, the leaves are poisonous.
I mean, I'm no botanist or anything, but I would definately suggest a pot plant. To be honest with you, the leaves might be healthy year round, but assuming you're into "feeling good", or you just want to make a little extra sratch on the side, you'll be praying for those leaves to drop off as soon as they're ready. Happy planting!
It really depends where you live. If it's cold where you live then nothing with leaves are going to stay green all year. If your in a warmer climate then just stay away from trees with big leaves. try a eucalyptus. I'll warn you now they get really tall
paulownia..it's an asian tree and it's the fastest growing tree in the world. It has a lite, strong wood that can be used to make furniture and musical instruments. I think it needs dry dirt and alot of sunshine.. I quess your question really depends on the growing zone you live in..good luck
white pine...roots grow deep into earth..no threat to water lines, an excellent wind break and needles after tree is up to a good size can be used for mulch
