I need help with California Poppies...?

I'm currently grow a variety of California Poppies called, Mission Bells. Would anyone know if these poppies produce true seeds that will have the same characterists as their parents?
Or should I just buy new seeds?

There is one way to find out. I'm sure most will tell to buy more pks of seeds (safest option)then you'll know for certain you have true seed.
