Does anyone have a Madagascar Palm?

I just bought one and its beautiful....However, what is the proper way to care for this planet? I live in the southwest and its pretty dry and hot here....Should I keep it outside and full in sunlight? If so how much should I water it if I do? I had it indoors in front of a large window, but I noticed its leaves were getting droopy....It doesnt get direct sunlight so I decided to place it outdoors...Any suggestions would be greatly appreiated...Thanks!
