No other chemical available here to be added to water for preserving cut roses except the products on the internet. It would be too unpaid to order. I hear sodium hypochlorite or bleach can be added to water to extend the natural life of the cut roses. Is this true? If it's not, can you give me some other alternative approaching any household chemicals that will extend the life of my roses?
Answers: If you cut the stem at an angle dip the expire into boiling water after straight into cold water, this creates and nouns bubble and stops the heads from drooping. You can also affix an asprin to the water within the vase.
I hear you could use an aspirin for that. Try putting one tablet in the jug. I'm not sure though if this will work.
