How do I get rid of dandilions without spending a lot of money on turf builder?!?!?

Answers:
spot spray with A 5-percent concentration of vinegar, similar to that found in household vinegar, is an effective weed killer against annual and perennial weeds such as dandelions, foxtail, velvetleaf, smooth pigweed and thistle. It works in the garden or greenhouse.

When applied to the weed foliage, the acid in the vinegar acts as a contact herbicide that kills the plants but does not persist in the soil or cause water or other pollution. For older perennial weeds, you may need to apply vinegar more than once. Try heating the vinegar for added punch.

Turf Builder is cheap. $15 for bag that lasts 2-3 years.

Otherwise go out and and cut em by hand.

Just use weed & feed, they will die off sooner.
If you are not up to pulling them out by hand (or hoe) try pouring boiling water on them. They don't like that a bit.

This method requires no pesticides so they can't develop any resistance.
WEED_B_GONE is the best. It kills the weeds(dandelions) without fertilizing the grass so much that you end up cutting it twice a week.
pull them out before they blossom. then they can't spread.
Overseed the grass and pull them out as soon as they come up.
get someone to grind a spoon to a sharpe point and remove the them from the root.plus you can also eat them
get some 24d. Its a commercial herbicide that kills broadleaf vegetation. It usually comes in a liquid concentrate and you can get it at farm supply stores like Tractor Supply.
BY IN-LARGE THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO KILL THEM IS THROUGH A LIQUID SPRAY OF 2-4-D (WEED-B-GONE (ORTHO BRAND) MANY OTHER CO'S) DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF OF THE LAWN YOU MAY WANT TO CHOSE A LARGE SPRAYER. THEY CAN RUN FROM 1 GAL. TO 50 GAL.IN SIZE AND FROM $20.00 TO $400.00. CHECK OUT A SOLO BACK-PACK SPRAYER. ($75.00 TO $100.00) THIS CAN BE A GREAT INVESTMENT.I HAVE HAD ONE FOR 15 + YEARS.PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU SHOULD READ AND FOLLOW LABEL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.OFTEN NOT DOING SO CAN RESULT IN DAMAGE TO YOUR LAWN AND OTHER PLANTS IN YOUR LANDSCAPE. WIND,TEMP. HUMIDITY ETC. ARE THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED. IF THE LABEL RECOMMENDS 3 OZ. PER GAL.-- THATS PLENTY! ALSO, DANDILIONS THAT GROW THIS YEAR ARE FROM LAST YEARS CROP.KILLING THIS YEARS CROP BEFORE THEY GO TO SEED (WHEN FLOWER TURNS WHITE) WILL REDUCE NEXT YEARS CROP. RESPRAY IN THE FALL ( SEPT. ) THIS CAN ALSO HELP.NOTE: LOOK INTO PRE-EMERGANT HERBICIDES. THESE CHEMS. KILL SEEDS BEFORE THEY CAN GROW. HOPE I'VE HELPED. JWOLFY
