Post a sign or ad for free fill you haul - it'll be gone in no time.

The easiest and cheapest way is to put a sign on it that says, Free Top Soil, You haul. Someone needs it worse than you do and will find someone to load and haul it away for you, costing you nothing. Good Luck

if it's clean offer to give it away free some people are looking for clean fill dirt
PUT A SIGN AT THE END OF YOUR DRIVE....FREE FILL ...OR TOP SOIL IF IT IS....SOMEONE WILL WANT IT FOR LEVELING.....GOOD LUCK
put an add in local paper asking for someone who needs fill dirt. maybe the local lumbar yard has a post-it board that you can post on.
Top soil has great value to the person who needs it. We put an ad in a local paper -- free topsoil, you haul -- and had dozens of takers. Depends on your area. Put a free ad on craigslist.com if you live in an area served by craigslist.

Same with fill dirt, although alot of people accept fill dirt for fill in as long as it doesn't have trash in it.

Im sure if you ask around, you have friends or neighbors who would like to have it. I would, I need some desperately and haven't the extra money to buy it , I live in a rental house and LL won't put out money to improve the clay in the yard. Anyway, if you aren't in a big hurry to get rid of it ask around, put a notice up at the local grocery store, believe me you can get it done legally and for free.
Sell it, and make some money ;-)
