bleached and stippling of leaves = spider mites.

citrus red mite.
pacific spider mites.
twospotted spider mites.
tiny specks about the size of ground pepper on the leaves, suck the sap out.

Has it snowed recently? Are they cold to the touch?
if it is more of a pale yellow, it could be from a mineral deficiency in the fertilizer - may need more iron.
