Looking for a BeautyBerry Bush. Someone says they keep flies, mosquitos and ticks out of the yard. Does it?

We have trouble with mosquitoes in the South and a friend heard about this plant. Does anyone know if they work? Where can I find one?

Answers:
i got beauty berry growing wild all over my back yard.......sorry to tell ya, i also have flies ,mosquito's.....i have the yard sprayed for ticks......so i would have to say no...it doesn't keep them out of your yard but DOES attract a lot of birds which would help with your "critter"prob

I don't know about mosquitoes and ticks but I can tell you that they don't keep flies out of your yard. I have a relatively large beauty berry bush and way to many flies.

It doesn't get rid of bugs. But it's a native plant and you can find it at native plant stores.

There are some plants that deter pests. Maybe try garlic, false indigo, and horsemint.
